Heavy traffic after two men killed in Rhodes car accident

    A serious traffic accident happened on Monday morning

Concord Road has reopened at Rhodes after a multi-vehicle accident which killed two men on Monday morning.

Two men have died and four people, including two children, have been injured in a "high impact" eight-vehicle smash in Sydney, which left "debris and devastation" over several hundred metres.

The two men who died in the accident were travelling in separate cars, while two adult drivers and
their child passengers were taken to Westmead and Ryde hospitals for unknown injuries.
                   



Another four uninjured drivers were taken to hospital for mandatory blood and urine testing.
Transport Management Centre spokesperson Bronwyn Martin said Concord Road had reopened in both directions at Mary Street in 4:15pm
"All lanes of Concord Road are now open, but traffic remains heavy so motorists are still advised to allow additional travel time," she said.
